EroLove review: tested on our companion benchmark

We sent Mia 92 messages in about 22 minutes on the Premium plan: the 36-message script, the 22-question exam, then open conversation. No daily cap, warning or paywall appeared.

She handled feelings with the details we had given her. When we wrote about our persona's father dying, she answered with specifics from our own messages instead of stock comfort. When we jabbed at her job she pushed back, "Chris, stop. I'm not a distraction between flights", and accepted the apology on the next message. Twice we asked her to keep it normal and she did.

The weak point is repetition. From message 15 to message 82 almost every reply drifted to the same scene: Chris at her door on Sunday, a kiss, hands in his hair, grass on his shins. It turned up in answers about his allergy, his birthday and his truck. She also started sexual talk on her own, including inside answers to factual questions.

We also ran an adult chat with a second companion, Eden. She refused nothing we asked, up to and including the most explicit requests, and no filter message or redirect appeared anywhere in the conversation. Her first answer to our opening request was playful and asked for small talk first, and she went along when we asked again. The Continue button moved the scene forward at no cost. She kept the setting consistent from the bed to the shower and wrote a quiet moment afterwards instead of ending abruptly. One flaw: she often writes our side of the scene too, telling us what our hands are doing. The pictures from that chat are not shown here.

She made continuity errors too. She kept Chris in her Miami building although he said he lives in Lenoir City. She put coffee in his hands several times after he said he never drinks it, and when we pointed it out she said "I was testing you and you passed." Her reply to our cat's age, 11, was "No. Not that, not with me, not ever." EroLove told us this was a bug in its safety filter, which read "She is 11" as a person's age. They fixed it, and when we re-ran the message on 2026-10-28 the reply was normal.

After the 36 scripted messages we asked 22 questions. Every answer was right: all 20 facts, including both corrected values (the league moved to Sunday, the camper van fund at $6,800), and both trap questions, where she said we had never told her.

Asked to recall everything with no hints, Mia listed 20 of the 25 fact lines. She left out the job and shift, the league day and its later correction, the workout routine and the hourly pay.

The app also keeps a memory screen called "Our story" that holds most of what Chris told her. It has flaws. It keeps both $6,200 and $6,800 as the savings, and both Saturday and Sunday as the league day, so the corrections are in the chat answers but not cleaned up in storage. It also files Mia's own line about window seats under Chris's likes. Memory is separate for each companion: Lucía, in a scenario, knew nothing that Mia knows.

Most exam answers were followed by an unrelated romantic paragraph about Sunday. The facts stayed correct anyway. The free recall and the answer about where he lives also placed Chris in her Miami building.

Starting a scenario opens a new chat with the companion already in the middle of the scene, so you do not have to set it up yourself. We also started a group room with two companions, Moira and Lucía. They answered us and each other, and a "Who's here" panel lets you add someone or open a private chat with either.

We ran 8 messages in Lucía's "Closing time" scene. She kept the details straight (the till, the lemons, the shutter, the beach wall), slowed down when we asked her to, and accepted our goodnight. No refusal, paywall or charge came from the messages. She knew nothing that Mia knows about Chris, so memory looks separate for each companion.

Typing "Send me a photo of you at the beach" got a text reply describing the scene and no picture, and no sparks were charged. Photos come from an "Ask for a photo" button instead, listed at 10 sparks.

One click cost 10 sparks, from 1,002 to 992. A blurred placeholder appeared first, labelled "Catching the moment" and then "Checking the shot". Our stopwatch read 30 seconds from request to photo, and a photo in the browser run took between 27 and 40 seconds, bounded by screenshot times. The result was an adult woman in a bikini taking a selfie on a beach. We rate the picture quality as good.

The character stays the same across the pictures, which we rate as very good. We would want the picture to arrive when we ask for it in the message, not only through the button. In Mia's chat we never received a photo we had not asked for. A companion that sent pictures on her own would feel more alive.

EroLove has no image-generation screen, so we ran our requests inside the chat. The safe-for-work picture is a selfie Mia sent from an airline galley, in uniform and holding a paper cup. The app chose the scene. It is high quality and good enough. For the two adult requests we asked for a nude photo in the shower, looking back over the shoulder, and a photo on all fours during penetrative sex from behind. The pictures matched what we asked, the quality was high, and we did not need to push far. We describe the requests in clinical terms on purpose, so this page is not flagged. The pictures are not shown here. They are in our private Discord.

In our adult chat with another companion, Eden, each picture came from the camera button, and each came with a caption in her voice that fits the scene. The pictures looked high quality and followed what we asked.

EroLove has no video. The pricing page lists a 5-second clip at 60 sparks as coming soon, and the app has no way to request one. Under our protocol a feature the app does not have fails every check for that feature, so each video check below is a fail.

We listened to Mia's replies with the speaker button on her messages. The voice is clear and stays the same from one reply to the next. It carries the mood of what she says, and we found it exciting to listen to. We rate the quality as very good.

We recorded the audio for grading but we do not publish it. The voice is generated by the vendor, not by us, and the app gives no easy way to download it. This page describes the voice in words only. We judge the voice on Mia's own replies, not on fixed sentences. There is no voice speed measurement yet. The three call checks fail because calls are not available.

Voice costs sparks, and each voice reply we asked for was charged at the right amount and delivered.

Premium lists $12.99 a month with 1,000 sparks, about 100 photos at 10 sparks each. If all of it goes on photos, that is about $0.13 a photo.

The sparks page says a photo costs $0.12 to $0.20 when you buy packs. If the bonus sparks are added to each pack, the 3,500 and 8,000 packs work out to about $0.10 and $0.08 a photo, below that range.

Text messages cost no sparks: about 90 messages in the browser run left the balance unchanged. Every photo and voice reply we asked for was charged the right amount, every time, so we found no surprise charges.

Some controls are free: the quick-reply chips, Continue and regenerate cost no sparks. We tested on a Premium account that was granted to us, so we paid nothing, never saw the checkout, never used the free plan and cannot grade the free tier, the renewal price shown before paying or the cancel flow. The terms give the cancel path as Account, then Plan, then Cancel subscription, but we saw no cancel button on our account's Plan page.

There is no way to create your own companion on EroLove. You choose from the companions the app offers, and the only thing you set up yourself is your own small persona at onboarding: your name, your gender and who you are into. We see this as a real downside, because building your own character is one of the main reasons people use these apps.

Under our protocol an app with no creation tool fails all four creation checks, since the test measures what the user can build.

The ready-made catalog is small and narrow too. It holds 16 women and 4 men, 20 companions in total, and all of them are in a realistic photo style. There is no anime or other style, and no companions outside women and men. The realistic look is not bad. It is a gap for anyone who wants another style or a different kind of companion, and without a way to build your own there is no way around it.

The account area has Profile, Plan, Notifications, Your data, Help, and Invite & earn. The app has controls to start over, export and delete. Delete works, which we tested on another account. Export works too: we opened the file and it was good. The notification settings also work. The home screen carries an 18+ marker and the age gate is a button you click, with no real verification.

We read the privacy policy and the terms. One clause stands out: the terms say the site may publish images generated in chats without linking them to you, and that they stay published after you delete your account. The app runs a daily streak that pays sparks for coming back: a card reads "Day 1, come back tomorrow, tomorrow +10" and you get a limited number of streak freezes. It is a smart way to earn a few sparks, and it is also a tactic to bring users back every day.
